Java Programming Fundamentals is a 30-hour, instructor led course that teaches students how to write Java applications and applets. They will learn the Java language mechanics found in other programming languages, such as variables, iterations, control statements, methods and arrays. They will also discuss object-oriented theory as it relates to Java. Students will create Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for both applications and applets, emphasizing components, layouts, and graphics.
